| | What is the best GPS system and why? | | I need to find a Gps system that is high quality and idiot proof with directions. I know how to program and use technology so I am not worried about that aspect of it, but I literally have NO sense of direction. I want to be able to take a trip to somewhere I have never been and be able to "ask it" where I can get gas, food, etc. If you have a GPS system please tell me why it is the best or not and how it would help me. | | In Car GPS Navigation System | | I got my wife a GPS navigation system for her car at xmas and it has somehow found it's way into my vehicle....it's no surprise really as my scouting skills are so bad I'd have been the first one eaten in the Donner party. It really is an incredible little piece of equipment...tells me where all the restaurants are(something the Donner party could have used quite honestly), as well as ATM's.....plus the girl who talks on the system sounds really hot....I may never use Mapquest or stop at a seedy gas station to ask for directions ever again. | |

| I bought a GPS!!:D | | I had some shopping therapy today..lol!! I bought a tomtom go 510 GPS. I can't wait to get it!! No more getting lost, hopefully! I hear they even have Mr. T doing some of the voice directions, hahah!!

| | Has anyone else had trouble using a Gizmondo GPS? | | We've borrowed a GPS system called Gizmondo from my brother-in-law while travelling round England, but it's very un-user-friendly. This isn't helped by not having a proper manual. Nevertheless, usually you can work out which buttons do what on machines like this, but there are some things with the Gizmondo that have defeated our ability to find out what to do. Turning it off, for one thing! | |
