| Organic Television Screens - A True Flatscreen | | Then new technology of organic television and computer monitor screens is on it's way. The new screens are said to have better picture quality than any other screen available. The great thing is that these screens are so thin that when you are not using it, you will be able to roll it up and store it.I think that companies at first will still encase them in a plastic moulding, but there will be a market for a screen so tim that you can watch television on a band strapped around your wrist.Toshiba believes that it will put the screens on the market as soon as next year, and that they will be cheaper to produce than a standard screen. This will be an exciting leap into technology, which until now has only been seen in science fiction movies. | |
| | I'm Ready To Burn and More Besides! | | I went to my Son's today, together with my Mum, on invite for a Birthday Dinner.My Daughter-In-Law cooked a lovely Roast Pork dinner, with Toffee Pavlova, or Strawberries and Strawberry Milk Jelly for dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed this, and then Lauren brought me a card she'd made. She had written the birthday greeting on the top, and drawn a computer monitor with icons on it, lol, and then she'd cut some dimpled silver paper for a keyboard and placed it underneath, and drawn a black mouse, with a wire leading around to the back of the monitor. "Open it" she said, so I opened it, and down dropped all these coloured streamers she'd cut and taped inside. lol. It was quite clever really.Anyway, she then presented me with a gift, which I duly unwrapped... it was my pyrography pen, in a kit with two leather objects to burn on, and three wooden. There were loads of interchangeable tips... fourteen, I think. So, soon I shall be starting to burn my designs. I'm really looking forward to that.Then Di asked me if I wanted to go to Hobbycraft to spend the £10 voucher, which I did, and Lauren joined us. I did quite well from £10... I... | |
| | What was your last eBay purchase? | | Videogame, book, CD, stamp, magazine, iPod, computer, monitor, Playstation, television, pen... eBay sells pretty much everything. I'd like to know what was your last purchase there, why did you buy it (if it was a Final Fantasy videogame, you can say you've been a big fan since you were a child), if it was cheap or expensive, if you bought it for impulse or because you were planning to do it... I think by knowing what we buy we can learn some more about each other.
Well, I bough a Playstation videogame today, and it was cheap, but the shipping made it quite expensive. I wasn't planning to buy it, I was just going trough the itens and I saw it, it looked like a cool game so I decided to buy it. | |
| | | | Spyware and Malware. | | Friends,Last week I was surfing some sites and suddenly my computer monitor gave me a warning that my computer was infected by the spyware. I continued to work on it for few minutes and then after finishing my surfing, I shut down the computer. Then the next day I found that my computer was not working properly. It was not having original speed also. Obviously I did not have any protection from spyware in my computer. Can anyone suggest me some site offering the free download for clearing these spyware? | | Computer monitor suddenly turn off. What happen? | | Does someone know why a computer monitor suddenly turn off? Everything is okay (cable connections, etc). The only problem is that there is no green light on the right corner of the monitor when the button is pressed. You know... when you want to turn on your monitor, you'll press a button which then it will have a green light -- Now, there is no green light. The CPU is running well -- no problem. I have already checked it. What happen with the monitor? How should I do? | |

| | Do you feel safe in your country? | | In my last 6months I got things stoled that are worth 1month and something of my salary.I got rubbed 3 times.Once at my club[were I work] they stoled a COMPUTER MONITOR, we don't have cams, don't ask me why:/
Thats a month salarySecond time they stoled a webcam thats 10% of my salary.Third time I was walking home and allmost got my @ss kicked and they stoled my phone, they were 3 BIG guys and I was REALLY tired after MANY MANY hours of work and it was kinda dark and I couldn't reconize so the cops will find them.
It was worth 25% of one month salary.I live in Romania, how about your place? | |
